Once a year in Seattle, Microsoft Corporation hosts a 2-day conference for senior information technology officers from companies all over the world: SITO. The attendees are the folks within their companies that conceive and deploy core business solutions using IT. As you might imagine, they use a lot of Microsoft technology.

As with the most recent Microsoft CEO Summit, I covered this year's SITO conference digitally using Canon EOS-10D cameras. Much of my "corporate photojournalism" is in black & white. While film still owns the hearts and minds of many back & white photographers, I have found that it is possible (using Photoshop and the right techniques) to create beautiful black & white imagery directly from digital captures.
